Know Your Beholder - Adam Rapp whenever anybody asks me for my favorite book, i say this. it gets off to a slow start but that's really the charm of it. it's not over the top, and there isn't a ton that happens. it's only 5 parts and about 340 pages. but it's funny, thoughtful, introspective, and spends a ton of time exploring the mundane. i love how adam rapp can explain the everyday occurrences in such a way that makes them seem completely foreign and so silly. it's really a pleasure to read and i got hooked. i wanna say that i read the last 250 pages of this book in one sitting. once the story gets going, it's genuinely hard to put down.

Greenglass House - Kate Milford this book is definitely intended for a younger audience but i reread it every year around the holidays. it's super cozy/heartwarming and a real light read. i love this book and it's been on my bookshelf longer than almost every other book i have

A Man Called Ove - Fredrik Backman my most recent read and i've been recommending it to everybody since i first opened it. the story is super easy to get into from the jump. Backman is great at incorporating twists and surprises into a story where they really have no place, but it makes for a book that is real easy to read for a while. no notes.
